Service Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our work is professional services, not physical products. This policy explains how cancellations, refund requests, and billing or deliverable concerns are handled, fairly and in line with each project's written agreement.

Last updated: 17 October 2026

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to software development and digital marketing services provided by PRIYANSHU SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ("we", "us", or "our"), including websites, applications, e-commerce development, integrations, search engine optimisation, paid advertising management, social media marketing, and strategy or content support.

Because each project is different, this policy sets out general principles. It does not replace the specific terms agreed for your project.

2. The role of your project agreement

Cancellation, refund, and termination arrangements for a project are governed by the written proposal, quotation, or service agreement accepted for that project. Where that agreement and this policy differ, the agreement applies, subject to applicable law.

Project agreements typically describe the payment schedule, milestones, how completed work is measured, any notice period, and what happens to work in progress if a project ends early. We encourage you to read these terms carefully before accepting a proposal and to ask us about anything that is unclear.

3. How to request a cancellation

To cancel a project or an ongoing service, please send a written request to Paswanpriyanshu973@gmail.com and include:

  • your name and business name;
  • the project or service you wish to cancel and, where available, the proposal or invoice reference;
  • the date from which you would like the cancellation to take effect; and
  • any reason or concern you would like us to know about, if you are comfortable sharing it.

You are welcome to discuss a cancellation by phone on +91 97844 03542 or on WhatsApp, but please also confirm it in writing by email so that there is a clear record. We will acknowledge your request and explain the next steps under your project agreement.

4. What happens when a project is cancelled

When a project or service is cancelled, we will work with you to close it in an orderly way. In line with the agreed contract and applicable law:

  • Completed work: work carried out up to the effective cancellation date, including work towards a milestone in progress, is assessed according to the project agreement.
  • Accepted deliverables: deliverables that have been delivered and accepted, or treated as accepted under the agreement, are handled as set out in that agreement.
  • Third-party charges: costs paid to third parties on your behalf, such as domain registration, hosting, software licences, themes, plugins, stock media, or advertising spend paid to an advertising platform, are subject to the third party's own terms and may not be recoverable once incurred.
  • Committed costs: costs we have reasonably committed to for your project before cancellation, where the agreement provides for them, are taken into account.
  • Outstanding invoices: invoices for work completed or costs incurred before cancellation remain payable as set out in the agreement.
  • Handover: where the agreement provides for it, completed work, files, and account access relating to the project are handed over once the related amounts have been settled.

For ongoing services, such as monthly marketing support, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of any notice period stated in the agreement.

5. How refund requests are considered

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please email us with the details of the payment and the reason for your request. We will review each request individually and in good faith, taking into account:

  • the terms of the accepted proposal or service agreement;
  • the work completed and deliverables provided up to the date of the request;
  • whether the agreed services were delivered as described;
  • third-party charges and committed costs already incurred; and
  • your rights under applicable law.

We will let you know the outcome and our reasons. Where a refund is agreed, we will confirm the amount and process it within a reasonable time, normally using the original payment method or another method agreed with you.

6. Concerns about deliverables or billing

If you have a concern about a deliverable, such as something not matching the agreed scope, or about an invoice, please contact us as soon as possible. Raising concerns early, especially during agreed review periods, usually makes them easier to resolve.

Please describe the concern and include any relevant references, screenshots, or examples. We will acknowledge your message, review it against the agreed scope, and respond with a proposed resolution. Depending on the situation, this may involve clarifying an invoice, correcting an error, completing outstanding items, carrying out revisions included in the agreement, or discussing a change in scope.

7. Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable law, including any rights available to consumers in India, that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
